Hudswell Clarke 1800 Class – Stove Pipe
The Hudswell Clarke1800 Class were a class of 17” diameter cylinder locos built for heavy industrial use. They followed a tried and tested design from several decades before and were very similar to a batch of locomotives supplied to the PLA (Port of London Authority).
Ideal for colliery or heavy industry the engines were well like by their owners with some surviving late into the final days of steam usage which in turn allowed a number to be saved for preservation.
Several received modifications in their working life and we have catered for this by producing two variants with either standard or stovepipe chimney styles.
This 4mm scale kit comes complete with everything you will need to complete a finished body except for the chassis (and glue + paint).
